The park is beautifully maintained and offers a truly peaceful drive through nature. With the help of our excellent guide, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five except the leopard. We even witnessed an intense standoff between lions and giraffes—it felt like a hunt was about to happen! We spent the whole day in the park, but it still felt too short because of how much there is to see and experience. Highly recommend visiting Akagera for anyone who loves wildlife and nature.
