Mr Shu and his assistant waited for us as we cycled in in a thunderstorm and were the kindest in drying out stuff and warming our hearts. I said it as the time and it remains true now: they make the best food in Taiwan, both dinner and breakfast.

Bright Moon Homestay completely exceeded our expectations! We were offered exceptional hospitality and kindness by the host and family. We enjoyed the food, the accommodation and everything about our stay. It was an amazing experience! We had such a great time, we wish we had booked a longer trip.     Highway 8 crossing central Taiwan from West to East. However, part the highway has been closed due to geohazar disaster. Heping the the last town on the way to the closed road. Heping is a small town, located by southern hill of the valley, and famoused with it's clear hot spring. Every year, Thousands of hounderd travelers came from around the world to stay here, to enjoy it hot spring, mountain trails, and special local mountain foods. It is a good place to plan for 2 days and 1 night stay.
