I had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay at Dan Stam Hotel in Arusha. Tucked away in a peaceful, green setting just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, this boutique hotel is perfect for anyone looking for comfort, quiet, and a personal touch. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see how I was doing, the service felt genuine and caring. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Everything was spotless, and little details like fresh flowers or a cozy sitting area added to the charm. The hotel grounds are beautifully kept, with lush gardens that create a serene atmosphere — perfect for unwinding after a long day of travel or safari. It’s quiet, safe, and has a lovely local feel to it. The restaurant serves delicious meals, with both local and international options. Breakfast was especially good — fresh fruit, eggs made to order, great coffee — and dinner was equally satisfying. What makes Dan Stam stand out is the balance of comfort, value, and authentic Tanzanian warmth. It’s ideal whether you’re in Arusha for safari, business, or just passing through. We had an amazing stay here! The beds are so comfortable and the pool is beautiful with the occasional visit from zebras and giraffes!! The fruit and fruit juices at breakfast are so yummy and fresh. The staff are all wonderful and so friendly we will miss this place!

Great starting location for safari tours. The hotel is excellent (we haven't been outside the hotel gates, only when car arrived for us for different activities). Clean environment, tidy garden. Our room was clean, well equipped. The staff was very friendly, and I'd like to point out all the help we got from Judith, our caretaker - she even arranged take away breakfest for 6AM when we left for safari. We always received bottled drinking water.

I was pleasantly surprised about everything at the hotel. The entire staff (from reception to kitchen to cleaning) were ALL so very nice and courteous and helpful. The pool area was great. The hotel was nice (looks like it was recently built). My room was nice (balcony, large bathroom), very clean, great wifi, and plenty of hot water. Also, It was a quick ride to the bus station (which I took from Arusha to Nairobi, on Impala Shulttle).
