I recently had a fantastic stay at the Four Seasons hotel in New Orleans and wanted to share my positive experience. The room was exceptional, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The location of the hotel was also ideal, allowing easy access to the city's attractions and vibrant atmosphere. The staff are absolutely amazing. Due to a booking issue, we thought that we were out of luck in regards to needing two beds. The staff went above and beyond. We were first pleasantly surprised at their response time and friendly, welcoming personalities. These ladies were always smiling! Then, they stepped up in preparing the room for an extra bed. The booking issue was the booking sites fault and not theirs, but they still took it on and fixed it! The entire time we felt as though they genuinely cared about not only our time at the hotel but also throughout the whole city. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Location, location, location. We were in walking distance of everything within the French quarter. As three young people looking to wobble back to our room, it was very easy to make it back safely. We will be back!

We had an amazing stay at The Mercantile. Donna, Marlon and the front office staff were super helpful - from check-in to check-out - not one thing to fault over a 7 day stay. Staff always willing to give us tips on best places to go and happy to just chat with us about their city! The young lady who did the evening shift finishing at 11pm and lived across the river (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) but what an angel - amazing customer service - thanks so much! The two ladies who run the kitchen and put out breakfasts daily - excellent layout of a hot and cold breakfast with little extras - fresh fruit, bottled water and little name tags for the different food items -Ladies, it’s all in the tiny detail, much appreciated - Thankyou!! Wonderful conversations too! The hotel itself looks like the pictures online and for us felt just like home. We had room service with fresh towels mid stay, coffee machine, bar fridge and microwave all worked fine, bed very comfortable and we just turned off the heating system if the room got too warm (once or twice during our stay). We had a little lounge space with a sitting area and record player but we rarely used the space although we did play a few records on arrival which was quirky and cool. The hotel is in a quiet and safe area with close proximity to the French Markets, Frenchman’s Street, shopping outlet, the National WWII Museum (all walking distance) and the street car on Canal St and the bus route for Magazine St is not far at all. Lots of eateries nearby too. We opted not to get a rental car and didn’t miss / need a car at all during our stay. Tour buses will pick / drop from hotel. If you’re looking for a glitzy, over the top experience, then the Mercantile is not it but if you’re after authentic, warm and genuine hospitality in a cosy and attractive environment in a quiet but convenient location, this is your place. Thanks again y’all, we hope to be back soon ❤️

    The room and staff was amazing but after being charged...

    The room and staff was amazing but after being charged something different than I was told wasn’t cool. Hotel over all was great. My only complaint is I got charged totally different price than what I was told. When I checked my account and I asked her why she couldn’t answer. Telling me I must of missed something or wasn’t told something. Got told it would be added to my card and it wasn’t.
