Lake Washington was beautiful. It would have been nice to have a longer walking path along the lake. We did visit the Gunnar Nordstrom Fine Arts Store especially for the exhibit of Dr. Seuss which was expansive, informational and very enjoyable. Kirkland WA is a small lake front town similar to some in New England. It lacks the hustle of Seattle and less commercial than Bellevue. It's a quiet restful location. I wasn't here for a vacation. There are several great places to eat in Kirkland as well as places to walk. There is a walking trail that follows an old dinner train track route. It is a gravel/paved trail and is several miles long. If you're a walker, it is worth checking out. It goes through the large Google campus.
