My 2nd stay in a 3rd floor king room at this survivor of post-war nags head was fantastic. It offers the best view on the OBX for your rental dollar. Very well maintained and exceptionally clean. No negatives for me!

Very beautiful home and beautifully decorated! Gorgeous location! They provided everything you could possibly need. The view of the sound was amazing. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. All the extras like the games, the downstairs area with ping pong and foosball was so nice. It’s was so thoughtful to provide all the beach equipment. We loved the area with so much to do. We didn’t want to leave! We would definitely like to come back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Insofar as visiting and getting around Nags Head is concerned I think the most aggravating thing was the pace of traffic/speed limits. But I don't suppose anyone will be doing anything about the Rose Parade pace of driving.

The Devil Hills Pizzeria was the best pizza we have ever had. Great employees, great food with quality ingredients, and close by. We also ate at The Dunes for breakfast. Excellent food, great place and they give you more than you can eat!

Our family loved Nags Head and wish we could have spent more time there. Unfortunately, as soon as we got there, there was news that Hurricane Erin was coming. It caused huge rip tides, so that meant any ocean activities were a no-go. We ended up leaving a bit early just to be safe. However, just from driving around, there was definitely lots to explore and do. I hope next year my family can make the same trip and enjoy the fullness of the Outer Banks!

Nags Head is the beach of my youth, since I was 8 or 9 years old. They don't allow buildings above four stories, which is nice. Usually there is good surf and fishing. Decent restaurants and shops. Cape Hatteras National Seashore is to the south, and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, Some of the restaurants are exceptional, most are acceptable. Manteo is just over the causeway, and the little fishing village of Wanchese. Eat at Kill Devil Grill or I Got Your Crabs. Breakfast at Miller's. Tortuga's Lie also good.

Room was very clean. Breakfast was a joke!! Hot breakfast was not available until 8am and the continental earlier breakfast was terrible. Bananas were too ripe to eat, meager so-called bake goods were terrible. Very disappointed. Main problem was our room in the adjacent building had no elevator and my husband and I in our late 70’s had to work up 2 double flights of stairs. Hotel could not move us because they were full.
