Small train station adjacent to hotel made for a convenient (and Old World) arrival. Breakfast was a choice of gourmet dishes; dinner was an array of local and seasonal dishes. Wine tasting was beyond my expectations. View was an ever-changing panorama of the lake. When it was dry, it was an easy walk to Bled along the lake path, an easy 30 minute walk to the Gorge and about two hours to walk around the entire lake. When it rained, I spent lazy days enjoying the indoor pool, sauna and cozy bar downstairs (best place to read) - all of which had unobstructed views to the lake. Staff were wonderful; facilities and room were immaculate yet homey (this is the only hotel I've stay at with Persian rugs in the elevator). It was like being a pampered guest at a family estate.

Set in a 19th-century villa, Penzion Vila Prešeren is located directly on the shores of scenic Lake Bled, below the castle in the centre of Bled. It offers free Wi-Fi.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The space was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and nature. The host was friendly and responsive, making the check-in process seamless. Beutiful over 100 years old house with some history and art inside. All the time we had cosy and homey feeling. Great beds and surrounding area. Also they were fine with our two dogs and there wasn't any problem. Moreover more than welcoming and super helpful host family and great breakfast made by then. Really exceptional and rare stay.

This is a friendly, family-run hotel in a scenic setting in Kranjska Gora. Our hosts were very patient and helpful. Although the reception is not open at night, they met our needs just as easily. This place is amazing. Podkoren is a cute quiet Village just 7 min away from Kranjska Gora where you can find nice restaurants. Yet if you are too tired you have a restaurant just in front the B&B with a lovely terrace. The B&B is wonderful, is like getting into a fairy tale, nice mix between traditional and modernized room. Matea the host is the best host ever. With no doubt a place to return.
