Great breakfast! Cold buffet with fruits, yogurts, croissant, breads. And an option for hot breakfast. The room was beautiful, the view is breathtaking… we could see whales from our balcony. Staff was really friendly! Fabulous location. You can walk to the town centre just in 5 minutes

Being at Bamboo Guest House was like being “at home”, we felt very welcomed and the 2 wonderful ladies owning the guest house were very nice and helpful. Loved our room, the “trusted bar” system, the fresh breakfast, the Christmas gifts on Christmas Day etc.

The manager is exceptional. Went out of her way to provide excellent service. Breakfast spread was the best of our trip in capetown and Namibia. Room was big, quiet and extremely comfortable. Would love to come back and stay again

We really enjoyed our stay! The host kindly waited for us and greeted us even though we arrived late, which made us feel very welcome. The property is a large, beautiful house with private rooms, just a short drive or an easy walk to the town center and its restaurants. Upstairs, there’s a stunning shared living room with ocean views—perfect for relaxing with a book or playing board games. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen if you want to cook. Overall, a peaceful and comfortable place to stay with a lovely homey feel. Highly recommend!

Quite simply one of the most comfortable, lovely stays I have had within South Africa or the world. Exceptional, friendly service. Comfortable rooms with stunning views and soaker tubs. Living room with fireplace and furniture to sink into for a conversation, good book, glass or wine or coffee and a conversation. Breakfast was outstanding and tailored to every diners needs.
