Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The room was unusually charming, all wooden-panelled and with a lovely view. And it was immaculately clean. All the spaces in the guest house were beautifully decorated.

Pousada Do Ouro is a pleasant 18th century house in the historical region of Paraty. Just a 10-minute walk from Pontal Beach. The guest house has an outdoor pool and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. We stayed three nights to celebrate our honeymoon. The staff made us feel special and welcome. We enjoyed the sauna and pool. We stayed in the master bedroom, which is spacious and private. It was great amenities such as a professional hairdryer, Nespresso coffee maker, and bathrobes. There were two smaller beds in the lower floor, which double as sofas. What stood out the most to us was the service. We had some leftover food we needed to heat up, and the staff kindly heated, plated, and brought it to our room. They took care of our laundry (for a reasonable fee), and booked us a taxi at the end of our stay. We felt very special and definitely worth the stay.
