A flat-screen cable TV is provided in each uniquely decorated room at Abigail’s Hotel. Italian marble and antique features, such as a claw-foot bathtub, are offered in the bathroom. Select rooms offer a spa bath. Rooms can only be accessed via stairs. Loved the very thoughtfully appointed room. It set the bar high for the continuation of our travels. Breakfast was fabulous and parking worked for us too.

Seine Boat Inn features accommodation in Alert Bay. This 4-star inn offers free WiFi. The inn has family rooms.

At the inn, all rooms include a patio. The rooms include a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, while some rooms have a kitchen fitted with an oven. All rooms at Seine Boat Inn are fitted with a seating area and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. We were warmly greeted by Peter who very kindly upgraded us to the best suite in the Seine Boat Inn with views directly over Alert Bay. Later that evening, we saw a humpback whale just in front of our porch! Pure magic!

One of Vancouver Island’s most comfortable and welcoming stay experiences, the Old House Hotel has it all: location; spacious, individually designed suites; inviting amenities such as kitchenettes and fireplaces; full-service spa; Locals Restaurant four-star dining experience; and “boutiquey” extras. It was fabulous, staff were amazing and the apartment was exceptional. One of our favourite places to stay on our trip to Canada

The welcome was lovely, greeted by Marketa. You can tell she has a lot of pride in her B&B! The place was very nicely furnished and decorated with lots of art. The breakfast was outstanding and very well presented. I travelled alone, so it was nice to have breakfast amongst other guests.

A private entrance and deck with sea views lead to every suite at Lodge Himwitsa. Guests can relax on the sofa bed in the living room and watch the satellite TV. We loved the location. The dock front was lively but very peaceful. Watching the sunset from our balcony was quite a great. This is a family run business with lots of attention to detail. This adult only 110-year-old Italian mansion in historic Victoria is adjacent to the Government House and Gardens. It features a daily homemade breakfast and luxury rooms with a 2-person jetted tub.

The elegant rooms at Fairholme Manor are styled with hardwood floors and clean white walls. Each room features a TV and VCR, small refrigerator and bathrobes. Many boast 12-foot ceilings or large bay windows. This was the absolute best accommodation during our 6 weeks in North America and the best we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, from the beginning to the end. The whole property was absolutely stunning and very well maintained. A heaven of peace. The gourmet breakfast really blew us away, it was excellent and outstanding, the best we’ve ever had. Our room was very clean and really comfortable and it had the best view as a deer family came to visit every morning. Sylvia was the perfect host, she is a such a helpful, friendly and lovely person and it was a real pleasure talking to her. Her staff was also absolutely awesome. Thank you for making our stay so special ❤️ We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the Fairholme Manor.
