The three-and-a-half-star Hotel Ontario has a 150-year tradition and boasts a unique and quiet location above the famous Mill Colonnade, right in the center of Karlovy Vary.

All rooms have a wonderful view of the city or the greenery. Hotel Ontario is an excellent hotel, with great rooms (we stayed in one of the bigger ones), good breakfast, very nice hosts who went out of their way to allow us to stay an extra night in the same room. Exceptionally good service! The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the bathroom is large! We loved spending time on the balcony, with a glass of wine. Free parking was a huge added bonus for us, travelling by car from Norway. The location is perfect, above the colonnade. And there is a «secret» lift from the street if you don’t want climb the stairs back to the hotel!

The Restaurant Romance with a summer terrace serves Czech and international cuisine as well as aromatic coffee. gorgeous rooms, best and most comfortable bed we’ve slept on for our entire trip. staff were fantastic and super helpful. breakfast was delicious and selection of food was great as well.

It is located in the centre of Mariánské Lázně, close to the wood and the spa park. It offers elegant rooms, free internet and an on-site parking for a surcharge. Everything was perfect ! Hotel Saint Petersburg is located on the Tepla River Bank, in Karlovy Vary’s spa area and opposite the Grandhotel Pupp. Built in the early 1800s, the hotel offers an on-site restaurant.

Free internet access and a LCD satellite TV with DVD player are standard in every room. All spacious rooms have a minibar, telephone and electronic safe. We arrived in the late afternoon. We asked for parking place in front of the hotel and it was waiting for us just a step from the front door 👍(extra 15€/one day) The receptionist acomodated us into larger room, so kids had their own room. The suite was fantastic, old but well preserved and furnished. A lot of towels and a fantastic shampoo. Breakfast was great, a lot for every taste, coffee could be better. Dining room is quite small, when we entered, we couldn't sit together, but instantly one older couple switced places with us. Lady in the dining room was running all the time up and down and took care for the buffet, so it was all the time full. 😉

The hotel Romania in Karlovy Vary can be found in the centre of the spa and commercial district, right at the Teplá River and 550 metres from the Mill Colonnade. It offers large, en-suite rooms with free WiFi, and a restaurant serving Czech and international cuisine. A stair lift for disabled guest is available as well. This hotel was a stone's throw to the 1/2 Marathon start/ finish line. Hotel had a lot of runners. The breakfast that came with it had a nice buffet and coffee machine for speciatly coffees. Afternoon beers outside on the porch, cozy dinner in the restaurant. they don't have a pool, but have a reciprocal agreement with the Windsor, so I swam laps in the morning.

A former summer residence of the countess of Schaumburg Lippe, the small but stylish Villa Basileia Riverside is peacefully situated on the bank of the Teplá river, close to the spa area.

This property houses the Le Marché experience restaurant, run by chef Honza Krajč. There is a daily menu offered, using fresh seasonal ingredients. Selected French and Moravian wines and champagnes offered to complement the dining treats. Clean, comfortable and very cozy. I slept on that bed like a baby. Breakfast was abundant and staff was extra friendly. A bit far from the center, but in such a place that is an advantage - walking through beautiful Karlovy Vary. Has its own parking, which is a big plus. Some major hotels we rejected because they didn'f have parking.

All units are equipped with a seating area with a satellite TV, a minibar and a fan. The bathroom comes with a bathtub or a shower or with both facilities. The apartments also feature an equipped kitchen. Everything! I travel a lot and rarely does a property exceed my expectations but this hotel certainly did. It is a classic, nice big rooms are tastefully adorned and it is situated directly across from the Grand Pupp ( for a fraction of the price). The staff were some of the friendliest I’ve met - big shout out to the manager Tomas who genuinely went out of his way to ensure I had a great stay. A very nice included breakfast to boot! Personally, can’t recommend it highly enough.

Spa 🧖🏻‍♂️ great pool and Saunas. Nice interior design. Good locationation in city centre. Everything close in walk distancence.
