The hotel itself is lovely and very well-maintained. It provided a cozy and relaxing environment that made our stay even more enjoyable. On our last day, Elena and Paul thoughtfully prepared delicious sandwiches for us, which was such a kind gesture and greatly appreciated. Caernarfon
Each guest room includes a flat-screen TV with DVD player, fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The en suite bathrooms have a shower, with a luxury spa bath in the superior rooms, and all include bathrobes, slippers and complementary toiletries. The place was central, the host , Jan, really knows how to treat guests! We were well looked after, the place was spotless and impeccable! We appreciated the little treats (some local biscuits, candles, milk and water, local beer etc) as not many hosts do these things anymore. Jan arranged the place to be a relaxing retreat. We even had slippers and robes, this was also a plus! Jan is a real host, she does not only rent out a room, but make it an experience and a great memory. This is rare to find, and we have been to many b&b places as we travel often. Thanks Jan!
Dolgellau
Many Regency-period features can be seen within the property, such as reeded doorcases, high ceilings and traditional furniture. A large reef aquarium is situated in the dining room and houses surgeon fish, yellow tangs, clownfish and many other species. Breakfast was excellent, the view was among the best that i have seen in my travels, the room was a bit small but that is to be expected in UK. the staff was very courteous, respectful and always on top of their job and serving with a smile.

Everything! Cooked breakfast was exceptional - bacon and sausage were from a renowned butcher in Bala - although other options were also available. More than plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room - never needed to ask for refills! The beds were a little too comfortable - deep and fresh - and the interior design was tasteful but classy. Parking was directly opposite - a permit could be provided if needed.
The beautiful surrounding & the interior design. Its feel like in fairy tale yet modern world with wonderful view & tranquility. We are welcomed by a lovely friendly granny who immediately help to find our home. The highland cow & horses are so lovely, so do the river trail. Nice area to walk around. The only thing we regret because only can spent one night otw back to Preston. We should stay more longer to experiences the best of this lovely cottage , farm's animal & stunning nature.
I really appreciated the stunning views from the property, especially during sunrise and sunset. The spacious layout and modern amenities made for a comfortable stay, and the attention to detail in the design added a touch of luxury. Overall, it was a delightful experience.
Everything about this boutique hotel is A* / 5 star. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and designed to the highest standard. Customer service-wise - the staff and hosts are amazing. Nothing is too much hassle! Finally, the breakfast is fantastic, compliments to the chef.
Excellent location, equipment, and lovely interior design 👌 *****
Very friendly and helpful owners, breakfast was lovely and I loved that there was an area to get ready in the morning in the room. Great designated parking area and very central to walk about town or drive to different areas/hikes. Bed was comfy and the shower has great water temperature and pressure as well!
