The staff is amazing and very very friendly - our little daughter loved interacting with the ladies at the reception and really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt they organized for her. The location is perfect, our room was spacious and quite cozy + the building has a significant historical and architectural value. The breakfast menu was very well structured - I'd definitely recommend the eggs Benedict! All in all - we'd recommend the place to anyone who's willing to get the most of their stay in Kilkenny!

The 4* Mespil Hotel is located in the city centre alongside the Grand Canal & within walking distance to St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, Aviva Stadium and the Ballsbridge area. All guest bedrooms have free WiFi & Chromecast. The room was very spacious, and the decor was nice. Our favorite part was the bed; it was so comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with a vast and varied selection. The hotel staff were super nice and did everything to give us the best hotel experience and service.

The Treatment Suites and leisure club comes with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym and the hotel also offers an award-winning double AA Rosette restaurant and bedrooms with countryside views. Attended a recent wedding in the hotel. The venue, staff and food was exceptional. Breakfast was beautiful, a lovely menu of hot breakfast choices to choose from, along with fresh juice. Food was a little slow, although it gave time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and enjoy the selection of yogurt, bread and pastries.

We had such a comfy stay and all the little touches in the room really made the difference. The receptionist was one of the loveliest people I’ve met and she really made an effort to make us feel welcome. We will stay again!
