The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... Probably one of the best hotels I stayed! Excellent rooms, incredible staff, very service orientated, great restaurant, beautiful old building in an historical setting.

Camellia Dwelling was a dream to stay at! Very central to restaurants, ATMs, beach and mart. The spacious room had everything we needed- fresh water from the properties well, comfortable bed, hot shower, a fridge, aircon and fan. Paddy, the owner, was incredibly helpful and kind. We had a delicious breakfast every day looking out onto the pristine garden. His staff were always helpful and friendly. We will definitely return to this clean and wonderful property. Thank you for everything.

We had so nice time with wife in this Vila. Stuff very friendly. We became a friends, last evening we went to ABBA concert together. We felt like we at home. Also, we had so delicious breakfast and dinner!!! Thank you and recommend to come here! 5 Stars for sure!

Fort de 19 Villa - Galle Fort es un alojamiento bien situado en el centro de Galle que ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The room was super spacious with high ceilings, making it feel airy and bright. The bathroom was also large and very functional. But it’s not just the room—the entire building was spotless! We even had our own rooftop with an incredible view. We stayed for five days and never even left the Fort area—everything, from top-class restaurants to cozy cafés, was within walking distance, so we didn’t need a tuk-tuk at all. The people were amazing—always kind and smiling. Next time we visit, we won’t even look for another place; we’ll definitely stay here again. 100% recommended!

Sri Lanka Dunes Unwatuna es un hotel boutique respetuoso con el medio ambiente cerca de la hermosa playa de Unawatuna (100 metros / 5 minutos a pie). It’s very nice and clean. Super friendly staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Roman Beach Hotel. The service was exceptional and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was another highlight — delicious, with large portions that really exceeded expectations. The hotel wasn’t crowded, which made the atmosphere very relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. It does show a bit of age, but nothing that affects comfort. We also had a jacuzzi in the room, which was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly — we were able to stream Netflix and YouTube without any lag. There was no TV in the room, possibly removed for repairs. Also, since we were on the top floor, the water pressure was a bit low. The location is right on the beachfront, but the beach itself is almost non-existent as the sea comes very close to the property. However, Narigama Beach is just a short 30-meter walk away and is much better for a beach experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable and comfortable stay. Exceptional value for money. Would definitely recommend!

Suite Lanka is a great beach stay. Beautiful architecture, great food, friendly staff and rooms with stunning views of the ocean. The colonial-style rooms are spacious, clean, and full of character. The attentive and friendly staff go above and beyond to make you comfortable.
