Absolutely phenomenal stay and easily the highlight of my trip to Morocco. Exquisite food, world class service, extremely helpful and friendly staff, beautiful rooms, lovely toiletries (I even purchased some) breakfast was divine and the dinner fantastic both times. Este hermoso riad, ubicado junto a la muralla de la ciudad, dispone de una terraza en la azotea con vistas a la antigua medina de Essaouira. Our stay exceeded our expectations. Coming from riad stays in Fes and Marrakech, we kind of expected the usuals from this riad, despite it being on the pricier side. Once we checked-in did we then realise why it was so. It came with the stuff that you would actually get from a hotel - bath robes, slippers, capsule coffee machine and a fridge.. They also provided complimentary water and sparkling water. The bath tub was also large and they provided bath salt.

El Riad Malaika Hotel está situado en el corazón de la medina de Essaouira, a sólo 50 metros de la playa. Lo primero es la decoración exquisita que guarda este Riad. El cuidado y el detalle que tiene en cada rincón. Después el personal tan amable, tan atento/ amable y cercano, que nada más llegar te recomienda los mejores sitios que visitar. Los desayunos caseros y de gran variedad. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y que te hacen sentir en casa.

Fantastic place in the heart of Essouria. Beautiful and tasteful decor, with a stunning sun balcony and carefully curated art and book collections. The staff really make this place though, we couldn't have asked for more. So helpful with recommendations and helping us book tables at restaurants ect. We'd also recommend La Table restaurant downstairs for some lovely food. Amazing stay and cannot recommend enough, thank you!

El establecimiento La Maison des Artistes está situado en el centro de la antigua Medina, a pocos pasos de los zocos, el puerto pesquero y la playa. Beautiful accommodation. The view at the roof terrace is otherworldly. Very clean - the place is thoroughly cleaned everyday - and the breakfast is very good. Isabelle has a sense of hospitality that is "hors catégorie". I am a solo traveler, and Isabelle and Abdelkader really took care of me; it felt like a sanctuary. Isabelle gives great recommendations on where to eat. One day Isabelle took me to the market to buy some fish, chose a restaurant for me where they grilled the fish and even showed me how to eat sardines the Moroccan way. Do visit the hammam, Isabelle makes reservations. My only regret is that I did it the last day of my stay, otherwise I would have definitely done it again.
