Dar Bensouda’s rooms combine the traditional architecture of the original palace with modern comforts. The rooms and suites are arranged around the fountain courtyard. They are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom. The suites have a bathtub and sitting room.
We had a lovely stay at Dar Bensouda, a beautifully refurbished traditional riad that perfectly blends authenticity with comfort. The property is an old house thoughtfully transformed into charming accommodation, preserving its architectural heritage while offering a peaceful retreat in the heart of the medina.
Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile.
Breakfast was decent—simple but satisfying. The small pool in the courtyard added a refreshing touch, especially after exploring the busy streets of Fes. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace: quite spacious, with stunning views and a serene ambiance that made it ideal for unwinding.
Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Dar Bensouda to travelers looking for an authentic Moroccan stay with warm hospitality.

We were able to ask for food or tea at any time of the day. The breakfast and dinner were abundant and delicious. The hosts were very welcoming. They made sure that we had a pleasant stay. They helped us to book a walking tour around the medina of Fez which we enjoyed very much. Definitely the Dar Attajalli made our time in Fez memorable.

Dar Faracha Fes is set a 2-minute walk from the Medina of Fes and offers a rooftop terrace with a view of the city. It is traditionally designed and guests are free to relax on the patio or in the lounge. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at, I cannot recommend it enough. I'll start with the most important, which is the people. Murad and the others made us feel like welcome guests rather than customers. They went out of their way to ensure that we weren't missing a thing. Starting with small things like ensuring we always have drinking water, to doing our laundry when we asked - without extra charge I might add. This is in addition to helping organize things during our stay. The room itself was beautiful, big, clean, comfortable and quiet. The riad is beautiful. Do yourself a favor and book this.

Satellite TV and free Wi-Fi access are standard in the guest rooms. Each room has a modern Moroccan décor with tiled flooring or stained-glass doors. Some rooms feature a king-size bed.
The location was good. It's only around 200 m to the Parking Ain Azliten. ATM and most of the attraction was in reasonable walking distance. The place was surrounded with the small souvenir shops that have more reasonable price compare with the shop nearby the Blue Gate. The interior of the guest house was amazing. The room was small but the furniture's choices was great so even we can open our big luggage without problem. The bed was comfortable. Our room was being cleaned everyday, which is surprising for a guest house class.
However, the best part from all were the staffs. All people were welcoming. The breakfast was made with love. Mr. Haddou was really helpful. He helps us to bought something in the market so we won't get scam. He help us with our baggage to the Blue Gate! He connect us with other guests that staying there too! So we can share our stories. Definitely a worth place to stay in Fes.

Absolutely stunning property. Every detail of the restoration of this Dar was so beautiful. We loved the experience of staying in such a magical place in the heart of the medina. Each room with Kate’s designer eye choosing the perfect textiles and furniture to compliment the space. Amazing rooftop views. Our food was some of the best we had in Morocco and the staff were very hospitable and accommodating to our requests and needs. One of my favorite places to stay in Morocco for a step back in time.
Meryem was incredible. She went above and beyond to take care of all our needs ( organizing tours, help out with accommodations ) she was outrageously friendly and welcoming . The riad itself is gorgeous with great design and Architecture . The room is very clean bed is very comfortable . Breakfast was fabulous . The entire place is a piece of art . This was probably the best experience I have ever during my stay in Morocco
Stunning interior design, great surroundings, and really helpful host. It was great to have such a comfortable stay just a few steps away from some of the most historically significant landmarks in Morocco.
I loved the breakfast, the interior design of the rooms, the lovely hosts.
