Firstly, to be met at the airport and taxi'd to the hotel was reassuring for a Male first-timer. Even at midnight, the roads were hectic with a million scooters zipping everywhere. On arrival at Sala, Rose and Thomas were excellent and attentive guests. Though rustic, the room was very clean and comfortable and had everything needed for a good night's sleep. It was very quiet given it's urban location. Even though a busy area, Sala was off the main road that several of the hotels are on. We were too late for dinner, but i look forward to returning to try Sala Thai restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, yoghurt, a selection of fresh breads, coffee and juice in a dining setting.

Also the fact that there was everything in scope within 1-3mins walk whether you’re looking for a mini supermarket , mosque , local restaurants I learnt scuba diving from discover scuba all the way to advanced l.I even extended my stay due to how nice & attentive the diving instructors were Overall one of the best trips I’ve done.Learnt a new skill, got to enjoy the beautiful beaches and lovely local cuisine. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. With a city view, the rooms also include a flat-screen TV, minibar, and coffee machine. Slippers and free toiletries are provided in the private bathroom. Some of the rooms have a balcony. It is an excellent place to stay in for one or two nights, while waiting to go to the island resort. The whole experience from the time greet and meet at the airport, till the check in was amazing. Very polite and helpful staff. We tried the dine in option and the food was amazing. Next day morning, they prepared our breakfast in a takeaway boxes and dropped us back to the airport. I was very happy and satisfied with my short stay there. Highly recommended.

Located on the outskirts of North Ari Atoll, Gangehi Island Resort & Spa features a diving school, spa, and a long sand bank. It offers rooms situated over water, on the beach, or within tropical gardens. Staff were good, nice view, i like the activity there, you can request a jet ski and other sea activities but a little expensive, you can go to another local island but its more expensive 40$++ each person and its not worth it tbh because it is quite no activities and only three shops. Spa lady was so good, and also the reception were so helpful.
