Laid back, clean, and full of very sweet and sociable cats! I love the way the space is decorated and the room itself had everything I needed to have a comfortable stay. Other guests were quiet and generally kept to themselves but also were very kind in the brief interactions I had. If you love cats I highly recommend :)

A perfect place to enjoy the Peranakan or Straits Chinese (Fusion of Malay and Chinese cultures) in the heart of this former British colony. The hotel is beautifully renovated and the restaurant (Kebaya Dining Room) serves amazingly delicious food.

I had an amazing stay at Coffee Atelier in George Town’s UNESCO heart. This boutique gem, set in beautifully restored 20th-century shophouses, blends old-world charm with modern comfort. My suite was spacious, filled with antique charm, and had all the essentials, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and a cozy vibe. The location is perfect, just steps from Chulia Street, Blue Mansion, and Armenian Street, making it so easy to explore Penang’s vibrant street art and food scene, yet it’s surprisingly peaceful. The staff who took care of us were incredibly warm and helpful, sharing great local tips. Highly recommend for a memorable Penang stay!

El Campbell House goza de una ubicación conveniente, a 5 minutos en coche del Museo de Penang. Está rodeado de gran variedad de tiendas y locales de restauración. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They know well about the sightseeing places around there and gave us useful advices of our trip. And the interiors of the room were amazing! We took a lot of photos in the room. It was like a film set.
