National Park Schiermonnikoog offers a backdrop for Hotel Graaf Bernstorff which features a library, free bus service. The island’s pier is 3.7 km away. Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean and we had a lovely view out to the park on the side of the hotel. There was no noise during the night and we slept well. The location is excellent in the middle of the village with easy access to shops and restaurants.

The incredible location is central to every thing and I loved the fact that you can easily walk around to find what you want. I will stay here again! Just a note, to check in you have to walk just down the way to check in at another hotel, super easy and staff was really kind.

Every day we had a beautiful breakfast set up for us in the main gathering room - delicious cheese, breads, pastries, soft boiled egg, fresh juices and coffee/tea. The room was large and the bed was without question like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom had a very nice shower - large towels. The history and architecture add to it's charm. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here every time we visit.
