Simply a fantastic location - the most historical center, the windows overlook the courtyard, so it is very quiet Very cozy, there is even a small dishwasher under the sink Peter allowed me to leave the car in the free parking lot until the evening on the day of departure.

The rooms was very warm and the blankets also super warm while outside it was freezing cold! The lady at the breakfast room, the maid and the receptionist, all were extremely kind and helpful. I loved that special personal touch of our stay.

Likely the best hostel that is more like a hotel right in the city center. There is a self check-in option if you arrive late but there is always staff nearby if you need help. We had a hostel style room with about 5 beds but it was private for me and my nephew. The beds were clean, like a hotel bed. There are shared showers and toilets on the hallway, also very very clean. Upstairs there is a kitchen and also a terace. The man who checked us in was very kind and was happy to share all sorts of activities to do in the area, as well as give tips on how to easily visit the castles nearby. The location is right in the towncenter so many restaurants to go to and eat. They give a free buspass to travel close to the castles and from there you can walk or take a (paid) horse carriage. There is parking free on a street nearby Augsburgerstrasse past the Best Western, maybe 8 minute walk. The host can tell you exactly where to go. You can't drive right up to the hotel because it's a pedestrian street Wifi worked well. Could have stayed for a few days but we were out of time.

I really liked the atmosphere at the lounge. Small, cozy, really creative that poet wall and the music was excellent. Is there any playlist which can be accessed? It amused me the text from the bathroom and it was also funny the toilet paper.

Amazing place! Highly recommended! The house is full of history, something interesting to see in each corner. The hosts are the most polite and hospitable people we have ever met. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. We also highly recommend the breakfast - delicious, fresh, various. Right in the historical center, but still easy to find and accessible. Parking place in front of the house and also nearby. One can hardly imagine a better place to stay in Fussen.
