The staff is lovely, the service excellent, and the food delicious. We went off-season so it was very quiet and peaceful to stroll around the little town and visit the public onsen with the yukata and shoes provided by the ryokan. The best one was the bath in the hotel though. They also offer a free shuttle service for the station and monkey park as well. We felt pampered and well taken care of at all times.

Amazing ryokan just 15-20 minutes walk from Yukanada station. Right next to Shibu Onsen district with heaps of eateries around. We walked to the snow monkey park from here - it took about an hour. There is also a shuttle service. The staff were extremely helpful and kind to us. We rented the private onsen and it was worth every dollar.

A small 6-room inn with Ryokan meals and cosy interiors, Yasuragi is just a few minutes drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park and an 8-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station. Hot-spring baths are featured....

What I liked the most was being able to be in such a lovely place with such lovely hosts. The couple that owns the ryokan have been nothing but nice since before you even arrive. The dinner and breakfast were out of this world, and the onsen is the perfect touch after a day out enjoying the area. They offer to pick you up from the train station, drop you off when you check out and even take you to the Monkey Park. Thank you very much for making my stay in Yudakana so special!

The house is beautiful with lovely flowers arrangements. The room had a nice view on the river and the onsen are very hot and relaxing. Everybody was very nice welcoming and the breakfast delicious !
