This is a great accommodation: super-modern and -clean, very spacious and very well equiped. We could even park our car in front of the flat; the location was very convenient for us. Furthermore, the owner was very friendly and helpful. All in all, we would stay there again.

This is the best hotel/Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Alexi went above and beyond for us, she moved her car onto the street so we could park our bike safely, she woke up at the crack of dawn to have our breakfast ready before our sunrise hike both days over the weekend and to top it off when there were no taxis available, she dropped us off at the airport (at 4am!), she didn't want to take the money but we made sure she did! The location was also fantastic, so close to the old town and a nice view from the balcony. I would recommend staying at Alexi's to anyone, she made our Madeiran experience!!

The facilities such as the large TV and nicely decorated bathrooms. Also, the outdoor spaces were nice and large. The staff were extremely nice!!! We were not supposed to check in until 15:00, but this was already possible at 13:00. Very nice as we had already landed at 9:00am. The location/route to the house (from the city centre) is a bit steep. But we ordered a Bolt taxi each time for a few euros and then we didn't have to walk uphill for 25 minutes. So that was a really good deal! The house is also very close to the city centre which is very nice! In addition, the view was perfect. There is sea view from 3 rooms. From each balcony there is also sea view. It is also very nice that the bedrooms have such large wardrobes to store your things. In addition, the air conditioning was nice. Not for a moment did I feel cold or too hot. And I've already said it but the staff is really one of the biggest toppers. I have never met such friendly staff at an accommodation as I have at this one.

Beautiful property just up the road from the Botanical Gardens. Lovely and clean and equipped with everything required. Great views over Funchal and a short taxi ride (or bus - bus stop at door) up from town.

Clara the owner and her father Roberto were very helpful and communication was excellent. The house is exceptional. Beautifully decorated with everything you would need in the kitchen. The rooms were roomy and plenty of storage space and a lovely balcony in the main bedroom. There was a lovely second living room on the third floor with a large balcony from which we could sea Funchal town and the sea. The surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful. The walk to the old town took about 15 to 20 minutes. We walked back each time which was mosty uphill but it didn't take too long. There are plenty of taxis if required. Roberto told us about a wee bakery about 5 mins from the house. It was lovely and used by locals. We had a few breakfasts there during our stay. There was.also a grocery store beside it which stocked everything you would need. I can't recommend this properly enough and we would love to go back. Free street parking available outside the house, but can also use property's driveway if needed.
