From the moment we arrived, we couldn't have felt more welcome. Louise (who lives up to and exceeds everything we had read about her online) greeted us at the door before showing us to the amazing room she had so kindly upgraded us to which was a huge surprise. The room was amazing, bed so comfortable, castle beautiful, and easily one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Everything was within 30 minutes travel for the places we wanted to visit. It was easily the best find we have found on Booked.com, and we will definitely be returning for more visits in the future.

Fabulous gem in Cobh. We rented the whole guesthouse (for 8 people in 6 rooms) for the price of a couple of rooms in a hotel. Walking distance from the town centre and lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shops. We'll be back!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Gabriel's Guesthouse for two nights, we were coming into Cork from some very agitated days and were in desperate need for quality sleep. This place delivered that and then some more. Our room was simply excellent; the bed was super comfy, the lighting was warm; everything about it was cozy and relaxing. If you are staying here I would strongly recommend that you include breakfast, it was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had in a hotel, delicious and with large servings to keep us fueled until supper. Special thanks to Kathleen at reception, she was lovely.

This hotel is directly opposite Cork Airport with a free shuttle service. It is just a 10-minute drive from Cork City, where there are shops, vibrant bars and restaurants.

Lovely! Great room size. Affordable prices for what is being offered. Great service. Access to everything. Very airy. Great ventilation. Buses every 30min or so, to the city centre(there were two bus routes, so even better). Bus station nearby. Not so close to the centre, but it was easy to get around. Quiet, even though it is right next to the airport. Loved it. Definitely recommend.
