The location is unbeatable—tucked in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, yet just steps away from the old castle, the local market, and directly across from the historic house of the famous writer Ismail Kadare. Walking through the charming streets felt like stepping into a storybook. The villa itself is stunning—comfortable, beautifully decorated, and full of character. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed with both modern comfort and traditional charm. We especially loved the balcony, where we enjoyed morning coffee with a view and quiet evenings under the stars. One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast—fresh, delicious, and made with local ingredients. It was the perfect start to every day and truly added to the experience. But what really made this stay unforgettable were the fantastic hosts. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel not just like guests, but like part of the family. This villa is perfect for anyone looking to relax, explore, and experience the authentic heart of the town. I won’t lie, it was hard to find using google maps or anything similar, but Luigi was a great guy, we came to pick us up from a easy acces area to guide us to the property even though it was a little late after check in hour. Luigi such a great guy!

Really exceeded my expectations, the room was brand new built with the traditional stone and wood in an amazing location right in the center of the old town. The room was spotless and comfortable. The host was also very helpful and kind.

Great views and very friendly owner. Lovely tight windy drive to get to the property which adds to the experience. Very narrow streets. Don’t rely on Google Maps for the route as you will get to a dead end. The owner will suggest a main route

The best choice in Gjirokaster: reachable by car, with great views from the balcony over the castle and the city, super welcoming staff. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely designed, the AC worked well You can order breakfast on site or enjoy a beer on the balcony listening to live music from a restaurant nearby. One of the best stays during our 14 days trip to Albania, highly recommended.
