Hair dryer, fridge, TV, ports for charging next to every bed. Microwave! Dishes! Extra blankets! Shampoo and soap included! Free parking too! There are 4 sleeping spots in the room, though there isn't a "double bed" as advertized, but rather just two smaller beds pushed together. At the end it was completely fine though. While there may be no radiators and the room is quite cold by default, you can still turn the air conditioner up to 30°C and enjoy! The host speaks very good English and Russian, and he replied very fast when I messaged him on the Booking website. Also, even though it comes with "no breakfast included", there is a very decent eating place right next to the hostel, which opens everyday of the week at 6 am. Not the best of food quality, but the prices are super cheap for Europeans.

I booked it to have a kitchen and make myself some good food after a few days of take outs and picnics so I was really happy to find everything I expected and also coffee, oil, salt etc. I enjoyed the location overlooking the central park with the mountains in the distance and 1 minute's walk from the history museum, less than 5 minutes to the rose museum. The host was on hand to help with whatever I needed and the WiFi speed was good so I could do my work with no problems.

The hosts were brilliant and welcoming. We enjoyed learning about Bulgaria and specifically Kalofer's history. The room had everything we needed for our hiking holiday, even got the chance to taste some home made alcohol! :D The hotel is simplistic and beautiful! Just what we were looking for.
