This place was amazing. The location was absolutely stunning, very close to the waterfall, a river and walks in the mountains. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed. The common areas were very nice, a great place to chill out with some games available too. The food at the restaurant was tasty with good portion sizes. ( I saw people complained about the price but it wasn't that much more than the town) We loved it so much we stayed an extra night.

The owner was fabulous! He's so lovely, friendly, helpful and personable. He can't do enough to make you feel welcome. And he makes the best hot chocolates with love. The views are amazing from here. The facilities are great. You can sleep with the large balcony doors open and feel at one with nature. There's a hammock on the balcony. Mosquito nets. Everything is clean. It's all so relaxed. And an inclusive environment is encouraged. It's a short walk up a mild hill. It's worth it and more. It exceeded my expectations. Of note: the owner has a good friend who is a bored watching guide for a much more reasonable fee.

Hostal Paraíso Minca has a bar and a garden in Minca. The guest house features family rooms.

The heartwarming welcome that the entire team gave to my partner and me. This attitude continued during our entire stay and I can't stress enough how much we appreciated their genuine interest and care for our wellbeing and for providing us with a truly unforgettable stay. Diana and her colleagues are incredible people and I sincerely hope that we will have the opportunity to visit their extraordinary hotel again one day. The place is an oasis of hospitality, our room was spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable with a great private shower and an incredible bed. The food that the restaurant offers is very tasty and carefully prepared. I loved every single second of our 3 days stay!

Was a great stay we came back a second time. Met Jan who gave us a great tour of the city. Both Snr Felix and Jan very welcoming and great with history on Santa marta and advice. The bedroom was nice, comfortable and lots of ventilation, the bathroom was reasonably clean and the breakfast (w coffee) was a nice extra. Made Santa Marta one of my favourite cities to visit in Colombia so far! The buses to Park Tayrona were passed by 2 streets over.

We stayed there for 10 nights. Mr. Johan's personal and friendly attitude throughout the entire time we stayed was excellent. Johan took care of us, explained to us about the place and gave recommendations for trips in the area, good and cheap restaurants and beaches that made our vacation in the village pleasant and successful. The location is excellent, clean and spacious rooms with air conditioning and good water pressure in the shower. There is also a good and cheap laundry service. Highly recommended!
