The location was great and handy for cafes, restaurants and pubs. The room had a fridge which I appreciated and a great selection of teas and ground coffee along with biscuits and crisps. Nicola, the host, was friendly and helpful.

We were so impressed by the property and our Host Tracy. We arrived a little early and we rang Tracy to see if we could check our bags, our room was ready and she explained how to access it. The apartment we were provided was exactly what we were after. It had a large combined bedroom/lounge, a kitchen so we could microwave meals and had a fridge. And shower/toilet. Very easy to access as it is only one short flight, easy even with heavy bags. It's close to shopping, restaurants, cafes, attractions and Alnwick Castle and Gardens. It's also close to a cinema and the bus stop and supermarkets are also an easy walk. A great stay in a lovely town.

In the charming village of Bamburgh, The Sunningdale is just 5 minutes’ walk from a magnificent castle and scenic coastline.

From the moment you drove into the driveway the anticipation of a wonderful luxury stay truly began to be fulfilled. Welcomed by our friendly, helpful hosts, afternoon tea was made and enjoyed in the summer room which looked over the beautiful garden estate of this charming stone Edwardian guest house. This is the best guest house, B & B ever! Absolute luxury at this best. It was the most magnificent stay with wonderful breakfasts, great conversations, helpful information, we felt special.
