The rooms were cosy. Breakfest was served in a bag and was sufficient for us fringe goers. Many fringe theathers were within a walking distance (we like walking, but there are busses available also.) peaceful. Not cheap. But functioned very well for us.

A lovely guest house, only a 10 min walk from the city center. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable, staff is helpful and you can find plenty of restaurants, bars and stores in the vicinity. I only stayed for one night this time, but will definitely return.

Very clean room and very kind host, she went out of her way to give us a call and prepare the room for us way before the check in time. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean and spacious enough for 3 adults. There is a small shopping center across the street with 2 supermarkets to get drinks/ snacks from. The bus stops are 2 minutes away and the area is very well connected to the city center.

We had the best time at rosehall hotel! we had the most lovely room with good space and a really nice bed.. The bathroom was nice. The best thing was when we came down for breakfast, we were met by the friendliest host, Martin. He showed us the way to our table, showed us what he had to offer for breakfast, and he gave us some good advices on where to go, how to get places, as we were visting Scotland for the first time. one of the mornings we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time, but he made some brakfast for us earlier, so we could eat before we left. He did what he could to make us feel welcome, and we sure did! The bus is right ouside the door, it cost 1,80 pounds, and it takes you to the city center in just a few minutes. When I go back to Edinburgh (wich I definitely will!!!) I would stay here again, no doubt!

I loved how welcoming and warm it was! Staff went above and beyond. Me and my mum stayed here for a family wedding. We arrived early and they had our room ready as fast as they could! We went to dollys tearooms to wait and one of the staff were so welcoming, especially a worker called Brain! As I said he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! They had refreshments in room, such a nice touch! Everything was clean tidy and absolutely beautiful decor! If I was coming to Edinburgh again I would defs rebook to stay here. A beautiful relaxing vibe!!
