The friendliest staff/host I've ever had. Yes, the location is far from the village, and it's scary and dangerous to walk back to the guesthouse alone at night. But don't hesitate to ask the host for a ride, they are always willing to help! Very good place to just relax and chill out.

Best place for Orang Utan Trekking (we did 3 days / 2 nights). Staff and guide were great: very nice, knowledgeable, trustworthy and familiar - was a great experience that I can recommend to everyone! p.s. we were very lucky and were able to see 7 different orang utans

The location is a perfect base for jungle trekking but the best thing is the incredible staff and the amazing food. I’m genuinely sad to leave and it feels like I’m leaving my home. This place is really unbelievable with the nature surrounding the place. We even got to see orangutans twice in their "backyard". The owner of the guesthouse helped us arrange a 3 days Jungle trekk which turned out to be really amazing. Shout-out to our two guides Berry and Bagus who were really great!

We had a great family stay. The personnel was very kind, the room was spacious and had a nice view. We did not eat at their place (went to other restaurants) but we did a jungle trek with them. We had an amazing guide who helped us carry in the jungle our 2-year old child. The 2-day trek was adapted to our family needs. We also used laundry and massage services recommended by the owner. All was perfect.

I loved my stay here! The bungalows are cosy and comfortable, located in a quiet area of forest away (but not too far) from the business of Bukit Lawang centre. There’s also a lovely river swimming spot just 5 min walk away! What made my time here the best was the kindness of Putra, Maya, and Fitraya. They are all lovely and make sure you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is amazing (especially the Chicken Rendang!) I did the 3 day 2 night trek with Putra and had such a fantastic time - he clearly knows a lot and cares for the jungle, it was such an awesome experience. I can’t wait to come back again 🙂 Terima kasih 🙏

Lovely spacious rooms with gorgeous balcony and view. Rooms were very clean with flushing toilets! Easy walk into town where there’s lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The owner and staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. We felt very safe and welcome here. They cooked us lovely banana pancakes for breakfast and a lovely lunch.

Nicely located in rice fields and with fish ponds. Bayu is an excellent host. He organized everything (airport transfer, overland tour to Lake Toba, jungle trekking) very well. We would like to emphasize the lovely, experienced and super-supportive jungle trek team with Jajang, Dony and Henry. While Janang is very knowledgeable and showed us 7 Orang Utans, some Thomas Leaf‘s Monkeys and Brown-handed Gibbons, Dony and Herny, did everything to take my almost blind wife by their hands and guided her 6 hours through the jungle. They paid as much attention, that she did not stumble and fall. Bayu recommended to skip going south to Bukkitinggi and Padang in rainy saison and consider visiting Pulau Weh/Sabang. We followed his recommendation and it was an unique experience! Terima Kasih Bayu!

Everything. Everyone involved in the accommodation and its services were so friendly and helpful. They always had a smile on their faces and engaged in talk so you feel very comfortable being there. Recently they opened their restaurant which serves amazing food so I had no need to eat elsewhere, plus canter for certain dietary requirements. Plus a beautiful garden to enjoy and 3 lovely dogs too.
