Amazing sunset views and beautiful ambience on the rooftop and whole hotel. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. Praveen has amazing stories to share and his attitude towards life is inspiring. Aladin makes the most amazing chai. Muki offers a great airport shuttle that was easy to organize. The location is amazing within the old fort of Jaisalmer. They organized us a desert safari where we could sleep under the stars - an unforgettable experience!

We had a wonderful time at Mud Mirror Guesthouse. Nice clean rooms, stunning view from the rooftop , good location. Lala and his staff are very kind and made us feel like home. We stayed longer than planned, because we liked it so much.

Great atmosphere everything is perfect. The People at Guesthouse all friendly and helpful. Surrounding everything is nearby. They Let us on the Rooftop after check out and Drop us at Train station. Amazing guest house in the centre of the fort at a very affordable price! I loved my room, very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very kind and helpful, at disposal at all times and very respectful. Food is also great and affordable, with both Western and Indian options, so I ate at the rooftop restaurant of the guest house every day. I especially liked the quietness throughout the day and night and the spectacular view from the rooftop, both for sunrise and sunset. The owner also helped me to arrange safari trip, which I enjoyed a lot! This place will be my base every time I visit Jaisalmer in future, for sure :)!

An unusual place on the map of India. You must come there for at least 1 night (and if you have time, longer) if you are looking for peace away from the hustle and bustle of Jaisalmer, a friendly atmosphere created by the hosts, a sky full of stars, delicious and healthy food, MALA KI DHANI is the place for you. Additionally, the host is very willing to talk about life in India. The history of this place is amazing. If we ever come back to Jaisalmer, we will definitely come back to Om and his family.

Gajanand Guest House is a hidden gem in Jaisalmer. Every time I visit this amazing city I stay at this quaint, wonderful home stay. Kamal and Bhavna welcome every guest as though they were family. You won’t find a more thoughtful, caring and honest man than Kamal. He’s the kind of guy you can go to for anything and will do his utmost to make your stay as memorable as possible. The location is very central and is within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants and shopping. Kamal is a wealth of information regarding local history and culture. He will gladly arrange for pick up from train or airport and knows all the local guides so can assist in organizing local tours and desert safari’s. The rooms are spotless, spacious, comfortable and very secure. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with hot water. I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing some of Bhavna’s home cooked meals and was blown away. Her food is incredibly delicious and would rival some better restaurants. You truly can’t ask for better hosts. Gajanand Guest House is the very best budget stay in Jaisalmer. You simply won’t find anything comparable for the price. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to Jaisalmer. Guaranteed you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Kamal and Bhavna 🥰.

    Great location in the fort beside a Jain temple. In a quieter part of the fort to avoid the main crowds. They met us at the train station at 4:30am and organised our paid taxi to the fort entrance for a good price and then escorted us on foot through the maze to the guest house where our room was fortunately vacant and we could check in. Breakfast was affordable and tasty and a lovely setting.
