Staff was so helpful and informative. He printed off our visas and flight tickets for us for our next destination to Vietnam, and advised us on the hikes around the area and we rent a motorbike. The room was rather basic but just what we needed for our stay! Breakfast was delicious every morning with a great variety of fresh fruits.

The best place to stay in Vang Vieng! A clean and very spacious room, good bathroom, quiet at night and a good internet. Within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, with very friendly staff. They helped me organize everything - from a day trip to the lagoons and Namxay to a tuk-tuk to the train station, for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

It was clean, family owned and they were so kind! They managed our laundry and helped get us bus tickets and pick up. Property is in the heart of the town and so nice and clean for the price. Highly recommend it as a budget option.

Staying at Sunset Nam Ngum resort was a through and through wonderful experience. With two days left on our Laos trip, before heading on to Vietnam it was just the perfect getaway into nature. The lake is so peaceful and you can just sit on your porch the whole day and relax and watch the small boats go by. The cottage is beautiful, overlooking the lake and very private. The resort has up to 7 cottages - so it can never get crowded. The restaurant in the centre is a place where you can meet the other guests or just chill. The menu doesn’t have a huge variety, but everything we had was good. If you plan on staying for a few days, maybe get yourself some snacks, as the town and market are not so close and best reached by kayak ( which is provided to you free of cost) The family is very friendly, they leave you to yourself and spread a very chilled out and calm vibe . All in all a great experience of a getaway into a beautiful natural scenery, a place to calm down and rejuvenate, especially if you are travelling for a while !

The owner is really nice and supportive. He supported us with every single ask-for-help and information around Vang Vieng. He also has a 24-hour motorbike rental service with super cool motorbikes I really like it. The room is spacious enough for a couple and has a private bathroom and a cute balcony (can you believe that?). With that price, it exceeds my expectation and I couldn't ask for more. Definitely, I would book this accommodation if I ever have a chance to go back to Vang Vieng, and will surely recommend it to any of my friends if they plan to visit Vang Vieng
