Rangala House is a very special place. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful, with a panoramic view that changes almost every time you blink. The staff are wonderful. Amala will help you with whatever you need and there is always someone around to serve drinks and food and to chat to about the gorgeous surroundings. They organised an Ayurvedic massage for us with a local man which was wonderful. Anthony, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming and a joy to be around. The chefs deserve a very special mention. The food at Rangala House was probably the best we had throughout the month we spent in Sri Lanka. As two backpackers travelling on a budget, we are so happy we decided to splurge a little and stay here - it was worth every penny. Thank you all!

This was an amazing stay and everything was just perfect - a beautifully decorated boutique hotel, cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and green surrounding. It's a bit distant from Candy, but all in all definitely worth staying.

We had a wonderful stay! The view is breathtaking, the room was amazingly clean and fresh with comfortable bed. The whole family was so helpful and kind, even helped us with food when we arrived late and hungry. Our best stay in sri lanka so far. Great location not far from town centre, bus station, railway station etc. nestled in a leafy area away from the chaos of town. We watched the squirrels and birds from the balcony while eating breakfast. Siraj was a fantastic host. Best pancakes and fruit platter. He was very friendly and helped us answer our questions about Kandy. PickMe and Uber work well here too.
