The place was simple, cleaned and tidy. The reception was very nice with Lucas (we arrived a bit late but he was there) Raquel the employee of the Refúgio was very kind and friendly. Everything was great, the tour to meet the pink dolphin, the Indigenous community and the beach. I loved the experience of the jungle and the bathroom? Blow my mind! I loved it

Me ayudaron mucho en organizarme excursiones por el Río Negro, me dieron los mejores consejos de cómo moverme por la ciudad y muchas otras cosas. No tengo ninguna duda que volveré a Sao Gabriel y obviamente a la Pousada Bawary siempre que fuera posible. Me quedan unas cuantas cosas por hacer allí. Muchas gracias por todo.

We really loved the place, the friendly staff, the breathtaking view. Throughout our stay, we were accompanied by the wonderful guide and translator - Cedar. From the first moment he helped with everything we needed, and with a lot of patience. He took us to fascinating activities and was a source of knowledge about everything related to the Amazon. Another energetic guide is Daniel, who makes every experience special and prepares a perfect caipirinha. An unforgettable experience!

Ponta Poranga Jungle Lodge está en Manaus, a 48 km de Palacio de Justicia, y dispone de servicio de conserjería, habitaciones hipoalergénicas, jardín, wifi gratis y restaurante. This neat and very well looked after jungle lodge is not only beautiful and authentic but also safe in the sense of bad surprises by snakes or spiders due to intelligent planting. Everything is done for the comfort and authentic jungle experience of the guests - only 5 chalets although they have space for very much more. I will never forget bathing in the beautiful stream which becomes a river in winter. The food was amazing and the tours very personal and intimate. However the best thing about this lodge is the owner, Alexandre, whose has a big heart for the animals and nature surrounding him. He agreed not only to feed the starving neighbors dog, but came up with the idea of taking that poor dying animal to his beautiful lodge, to feed it and even provide medical care. This is what we did on my last day - we went to the neighbor and brought the thinnest dog which wouldn't even move to his lodge, we washed it, fed it and provided first help for its damaged skin and open wounds. Alexandre is a very special person with a big big heart - God bless him and give him strength and power to help and care for those who so badly need it. My stay was an unforgettable, unique and beautiful experience - I will definitely be back to check on the rescued dog, who we renamed Mariposa, meaning a big brown butterfly in indigenous language and spend more time in this beautiful place.

Absolutely awesome service and very comfortable rooms. Lovely location and delicious food made to order. The nearby small waterfalls were beautiful and a dip in the refreshing water after days adventures in surrounding areas was a perfect ending for an awesome visit. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with authentic regional cuisine. 100% recommend this place!
