This is really a wonderful place, super clean, cozy but with good common areas, amazing comfortable beds and warm at night. Safe location and easy to walk up the nearby hill right into the center of downtown Castro. It was always very quiet here, especially at night. A nice experience to stay in a palofito (stick house).

I loved everything about this Hostal...The location was perfect-across the street from the bus station....My room was large and clean and sleep quality was excellent...In this Hostal guests have the use of the kitchen where coffee,tea and hot water are always available...The staff really made my stay enjoyable.I want to mention Richard who was very helpful to me,even telephoning the next place I was going to in order to confirm my reservation....I want to mention Ricardo at the reception desk also....Ricardo,from Italy 🇮🇹, was also friendly and helpful...This is a lovely place to stay...Top marks...10 out of 10

Palafito Hostel Chiloé dispone de habitaciones en Castro, cerca de Playa Sabanilla y de Iglesia San Francisco de Castro. We absolutely loved this hostel. We had room 8 with a beautiful view and a private terrace. We spent our entire rest day here enjoying the restful atmosphere and watching the tide go in and out. We made use of the lovely common spaces in the hostel as well. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Chile, with hearty homemade seed bread, fresh fruit and yogurt, and eggs made to order. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Refugio Parque Tepuhueico Zona Costa se encuentra en Quilán, a 40 km de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Chonchi, y ofrece alojamiento con bar y parking privado gratis. Se ofrece wifi gratis. the personnel was great. Sharing mate with me, giving me a free ride inside the park looking for Pudu and so on. Really astonishing.

La Casa de Sandrita se encuentra en Castro, a 19 km de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores y a 23 km de Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Chonchi. Sandrita is just perfect! I was cold, so she brings me an other blanket and an hot water bottle. Also, she gave me good advice for visiting Chiloé. At her and her husband’s house you feel at home! Thank you so much
