I live a balcony and my room had that, i could open my balcony and see allt of the village. It was a quick walk to the ferry station and stores. Upon arrival Tamer send is a cab to gather all our belongings and bring us to the guest house. My children and his children played for hours. They didn’t want to leave. Daily we had breakfast and dinner at the guest house and it was delicious. We had a hard time finding a cheap ride home, Tamer was able to arrange a ride for us at a rate we could afford. If your looking for a safe space single or family, this is an awesome guest house to stay at. The picture below is the view as you approach the island.

A recently renovated guest house in Aswan and within 22 km of Aga Khan Mausoleum, La Terrace has a private beach area, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the river and garden. Mohammed was a very great host, we enjoyed our time here. Terrace view was perfect, car transfers were arranged even though we arrived past midnight. We have large luggages which Mohammed arranged for guys to carry for us from the Jetty to the homestay, that helped as there were many stairs. Before/After crossing the river though, you may have to figure out how to carry up the rest of the stairs on your own. Just a point to note as no review mentioned this. Still, overall experience was great!

I was a lone female traveller, looking for tranquility in a touristic town with magnificent historic monuments! The guesthouse was perfectly located in front of the lake with birds flying all around, with the great view on sunset, and Ioved it. I was welcomed by a lovely family and enjoyed spending time with them on the balcony. Mr. Adel was always helpful and provided transportation whenever I requested, and kindly came up with options for activities, restaurants etc according to my budgets limits. It was beautiful 2 days, and would definitely recommend staying there.
