We were to arrive late and there was a problem with my credit card. The staff managed to solve the problem. And send info on how to access the hotel, room and parking place. Breakfast was outstanding delicious.

Girona Airport is around 40 minutes’ drive from the Olga Hostal. You can drive to Barcelona in about 75 minutes. The staff was just sweethearts all of them. We felt so welcome and they helped out with everything. We asked for a wine opener but they took care of our bottle and a minute later they arrived with it to the room in an ice bucket. The rooms were also so beautiful and fresh. Dyson hair fans and lovely balcony even on the backside of the house.

Pensió Bellmirall is located in the centre of Girona’s Old Town, just 100 metres from the cathedral. The simple rooms have private bathrooms, and there is a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

During the summer, breakfast is served on the terrace. In winter, it is served in the charming dining room. There is a bar service, and guests can relax in the garden. Full of character and extremely well presented

The units are equipped with heating facilities. We loved how peaceful it was and the beautiful building. The hosts were very kind and our kids loved playing with the cats and board games. The dinner was one of the best we have had during our five weeks in Spain, and we have enjoyed a lot of great food.

Dalí Museum is 25 km from the guest house, while Figueres Vilafant Train Station is 26 km from the property. Location was amazing, but it was the welcome that made our trip. We were at least 4 hours later than expected due to traffic. Our welcome from the owner Marie was exceptional. She showed us a larger room than booked due to the size of our dog which was brilliant. She bought wine and olives to the room for us. There was a bottle of water in the room for us. Her hospitality and empathy at a 10 hour drive due to traffic instead of 7 was amazing. At breakfast she was an amazing hostess.

The nearest airport is Girona-Costa Brava Airport, 24 km from Hostal del Mar. The room was very pretty, clean, more spacious than we expected and it had air-conditioning. The staff was very lovely and helpful, they were very kind and their English was really good. The location was perfect as well - the hotel is right by the beach, surrounded by many great restaurants and very close to the castle. We really liked the optional breakfast as well - it was delicious, quite cheap and right on time. You could also leave your luggage there before check-in and after check-out if needed, get discounts for the boats, beach umbrellas and recommendations for restaurants and bars. We had a perfect stay, especially considering the low price. We definitely recommend Hostal del Mar and hope to be back soon. Thank you to the staff for having us!
