Next, I surely recommend to reserve time in the morning for her yoga classes, even if you have not ever done yoga before - just like me. Friendly atmosphere that allows making new acquaintances (but if you don't want you don't have to, there is no pressure!). The cats! 🐈🐈‍⬛Convenient location provided you have a rental car (I would anyway recommend renting one regardless of where you stay). Felt very comfortable and didn't want to leave.

My room code didn't work at first, but it was quickly resolved.

They grow as much fruit as they can for guests. I especially enjoyed the company of the cats and chickens at breakfast

Un lugar muy acogedor! Al lado de la playa y con unas instalaciones impecables. Deborah es un amor, te sientes muy cuidado y bien aconsejado. Además el hostal tiene muchos detalles especiales y agradables para los huéspedes. Repetiría seguro.

Casa Luz se encuentra en Agaete, a 1,7 km de Playa de El Risco, y dispone de terraza, habitaciones hipoalergénicas y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Casa Luz is located in a corner of the Paradise. In between huge mountains of Gran Canaria, 20 minutes drive from Agaete port through an amazing route by the mountain....you arrive in El Risco, a very small village where the locals are all smiling and you see them working together as a community. When you enter Casa Luz, you discover that there is absolutely everything you may need for your stay, even things that you didn't know you needed. You basically feel right at home. The house is kept wonderfully clean, and there are a lot of small details that will make your stay a truly memorable one. Photos don't do justice of what the house is actually like (it's a lot better than in the photos). Another AMAZING feature is the fact that you CAN drink the tap water, which was impossible for us in any other location on Gran Canaria and Tenerife. You can feel that the water is pure, directly from the mountain, without chlorine. Raul and his mom, Mari Luz, are very friendly hosts and available to help you anythig, while offering your privacy. The terrace was our favorite part. During the day you can sunbathe, at sunset you can enjoy the sights of the local fauna (some majestic birds), and at night you have the whole sky for yourself, completely free of light pollution, so ideal if you like to watch the stars. I could go on with this description way longer, but I'll stop here before the nostalgia of the fact that we only stayed for 3 nights will get too overwhelming. I can't wait to be back.
