The couple running Guest House Babaka are lovely people. They were warm and made us feel welcome. Although we didn't have any languages in common, it was nothing that couldn't be solved with the help of Google Translate. After reading reviews about the food, we did ask for dinner. Dinner was an incredible spread of food with delicious homemade wine. All the food was delicious. The terrace was a comfortable place to hang out and there were two adorable dogs who liked to come by. The location was great. It's about a 5 minute walk to the center, which we knew. It's uphill going to town, but totally doable if you enjoy walking. Super quiet. We slept great. There really wasn't anything we didn't like. It was exactly what I was looking for, which was a simple homestay rather than a hotel. To that end, it feels like you're staying in an extension of someone's home, although the space we stayed in is very much separate from the house and pretty private. It's perfect if you're going in with those expectations, which we were. :)

Giorgi nos hizo un tour privado por diferentes bodegas de la zona, desde las más comerciales hasta las más pequeñas. Fue un servicio fantástico y no podemos estar más agradecidos. Spent the last few days of my trip to Georgia in Signaghi to relax and take in the views and wines, and this was the perfect base for it. Nice, clean, spacious room close to the bus stop, and everything in Sighnaghi is walking distance. Gio was the perfect host, attentive, entertaining and always ready to answer your questions, help you organize transport and give tips on what to do. Would stay again!
