The room had a heater but I didn't use it. The food was my favourite on this 4 days hike. It was the only place that offered chicken. There was a red lentils soup that was really delicious. One of the men offered me beer, wine and chacha (a little too much). The place was an extra 2km to hike here from Iprali but you can take the small hiking path indicated on maps.me. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good as well. One of the men gave me apples for my hike. Madloba Elos and company ☺️

Mamuka’s mother is a whiz in the kitchen: we booked dinner and breakfast with her during our 2 night stay and every meal was delicious. Home-made jams, milk from the family cows, produce from their garden and so on. Mamuka was also very responsive and helpful with advice and booking of transfer vehicle, and we learnt a lot about life in the mountains.

Situated in Martvili, 28 km from Okatse Canyon, Martvili canyon cottage features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The property is around 34 km from Kinchkha Waterfall, 47 km from Prometheus Cave and 49 km from White Bridge. The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a wardrobe and free WiFi. The Georgian breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide selection of fresh, authentic dishes that were full of flavor. It was not only delicious but also excellent value, setting a high standard each morning. Dinner was also memorable, with beautifully prepared meals that highlighted local flavors. The wine was exceptional and complemented the food perfectly. What truly stood out, however, was the hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm, honest, and genuinely friendly, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming and authentic throughout the entire stay.
