This guesthouse is truly a gem, Brian makes sure you have an amazing stay! You can tell he really cares about his guests. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. The food is incredible too (plenty of vegan and vegetarian options)! I did a 2 night jungle trek with them as well and everything was very well organised, great food and fruit on the trek, comfortable campsites by the river and close to a waterfall. You could tell that the guide really enjoyed being in nature, he had so much knowledge about the animals and plants and made us feel really safe. I got a bee sting and he had magic oil that made the sting disappear in just 30 min! I had a really great stay and trek with Brian and his team and definitely recommend them and would definitely come back one day! :)

El personal que lleva el alojamiento muy atentos. Pudimos dejar las maletas durante tres días mientras hacíamos una excursión. Nos facilitaron todo lo necesario en cuanto a transporte y disponibilidad.

Came to jhony’s for two days trekking tour through the jungle and was an incredible experience, from the start seeing orangutans and many monkeys around , the five start hotel in the jungle for the first night was special and the next day rafting to coming back to our a accomodation in Bukit lawang was the perfect close . Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking se encuentra en Bukit Lawang y dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Todo perfecto. No está en el centro de Bukit Lawang pero precisamente por eso se está mejor. Junto a un arrozal es un lugar muy tranquilo con muy buenas habitaciones. Hacer el trek de la jungla con ellos es muy recomendable. Nosotros lo hicimos con Jeck que es una persona encantadora y muy divertido. De noche tocó la guitarra para los que estábamos en el hotel y lo pasamos en grande. La comida del hotel también muy rica y a buen precio.

SeaGate Bungalows dispone de jardín, zona de playa privada, terraza y restaurante en Sabang. Hay baño termal y servicio de alquiler de coches. La habitación era muy limpio, cómodo y simplemente idílico. Además tenía una ducha medio-fuera de lluvia muy agradable. Borja y Yuyun son muy amables y atentos! Además de darnos un montón de tips para cosas que hacer en la isla nos consiguieron un pastel para celebrar el cumpleaños que hizo nuestra estancia una verdadera pasada! Gracias!!

I have been in Bukit Lawang for the past two months and have stayed at Sahnan several saturdays during my stay. It's location is great as it's on the side of the river where motorbikes don't usually go so it tends to be quiet (expect for saturdays when there's a party at the guesthouse next door). Great value and very comfortable and the staff have been super nice to me and always happy to help.

Also very accommodating, I arrived very late at night from the airport and they came to pick me up from my taxi. Rooms are clean and comfortable with AC and private bathrooms. Breakfast was also very yummy! The location is quite far from central Medan but nice because it is quiet and works perfectly for a one- night stop in Medan before moving to other places.

The 2 guides Rian and Santa were the best guides I’ve encountered anywhere in all my years of traveling. They were so kind, funny and thoughtful. The food on the trek was phenomenal and it really was a wonderful experience. The property is great, with a beautiful lush green garden.
