What a location - from my room there was a beautiful view of the sunset and sunrise over the frosty fields. The bedroom itself was warm and cosy, the bed had a great big mattress and a warm and soft duvet and pillows - I slept like a baby :) The hosts, Pam & Maurice, were exceptional. They picked me and dropped me off from the nearby town of Trim, and even gave me a lift and back to my appointment. They were welcoming, friendly and great to talk to. Also, the continental breakfast the next morning was delicious and abundant. I highly recommend Butterhouse!

The location was fantastic, right downtown in Trim with great views out every window. I figured, being above a bar, that there might be noise issues but even when live music was playing with a full crowd there was only a dim background level of noise. The facilities were in good repair, tea and water were provided to the room, fresh towels without prompting, it was a great experience.

Old Post Office está en Slane, a 7,9 km de Centro de visitantes de Brú na Bóinne y a 7,9 km de Newgrange. Place was convenient to sites we were visiting in the area (Bru na Boinne, Trim, Tara). Room and Property were very nice. Dinner and breakfast were very good in the dining room (Conyngham Arms). Thank you
