Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Room was massive for one person. Fantastic view of the pagoda (but the main tori gate was not visible). Location is located slightly uphill but still close to the main shopping street and the shrine. The room shares the bathroom and shower with everyone else, but has its own sink so it's more convenient. The shared bathrooms were clean, and there's a shared bath that people can reserve.

We stayed one night during our 2-day biking tour on Shimanami Kaido. Location was perfect: close to some good restaurants and basically on the bike route. We stayed in a mixed dorm, which was very clean and well-organised. Common shower rooms were very clean. The luggage transfer to our next stop (which was the bike rental in Imabari) worked perfectly.

For how cheap it was, this was one of the better stays me and my friend had during our first trip to Japan. We stayed here overnight while cycling the Shimanami Kaido, and it was a perfect place to unwind after being on a bike for several hours. The person running the place was very friendly, and was very helpful with telling us about the surrounding area. If I ever came back to Ikuchijima, I would pick this as my first place to stay again.

ゲストハウス尾道ポポー Guesthouse Onomichi Pawpaw se encuentra en Onomichi, a 12 min a pie de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, y ofrece jardín, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y terraza. Everything was absolutely amazing, and especially the service. The owner is so kind and helpful. He helped us out so much and even drove us to the ferry. If you are ever in Onomichi don’t hesitate to book this place, the kindness and hospitality of the owner alone is enough to make the stay worthwhile.

Guest house kusunoki（women only） se encuentra en Fukuyama, a 8,4 km de Shinsho-ji Temple, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Incredibly clean and lots of privacy. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure guests are comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

Share House Amigos está en Onomichi, a pocos pasos de Onomichi History Museum, y dispone de salón de uso común, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y terraza. We loved staying in an older traditional style Japanese home and experiencing sleeping on the tatami floor. The room was very spacious and the owners were kind and lovely people! The location was on the opposite end of the shopping street from the train station so lots of opportunity to see the town. We loved this stay!

The location is simply stunning, the guesthouse sits peacefully on the seafront of tranquil Mukaishima Island, surrounded by lush vegetation and easily accessible by car. It's the perfect destination if you're cycling along the Shimanami Kaido. Youko is an incredible host, warm, welcoming, and exceptionally helpful. She provided excellent recommendations for bike rentals, local restaurants, and activities, and every day left thoughtful notes at reception highlighting events happening in the area. When we accidentally left our backpack (with passports inside!) at the guesthouse, she promptly mailed it to our next destination without hesitation. Our 8-year-old daughter, Alice, loved the play area in the communal dining space, bouncing on the trampoline in the garden, and meeting the resident animals: friendly sheep, two charming cats, and Maroon, the adorable dog. The property itself is spotless. We stayed in one of the Japanese-style rooms, which felt spacious by Japanese standards, and offered spectacular views over the bay. The rooftop terrace was another highlight for us. We'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here, it’s truly a special place.

Onomichi Guest House Miharashi-tei está en Onomichi, a pocos pasos de Templo Senkō-ji, y ofrece bar y vistas a la ciudad. View is incredible . You can watch sunrise from your bed. Owner is nice and good English speaking.

88 House Hiroshima está en Hiroshima, a 5 km de Aeon Mall Hiroshima-Fuchu, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. La casa muy linda al estilo japonés, viví la verdadera experiencia y me sentí japonesa por 1 día, el anfitrión muy amable y habla ingles sin problemas, el sector es muy tranquilo y puedes desayunar escuchando el río.
