Superior for a dorm room, you get as much privacy as one can have in a shared room, with almost capsule like wooden bunk beds. Beautiful and functional design, nice common areas and well kept facilities. Location is little out of city Center, but close enough to the nearest train station. Good for people who enjoy quality of sleep and local suburbs. Most importantly the staff is amazing, making your stay exceptional.

Guest House BONITO, que está a 36 km de Daizen-ji Temple y a 36 km de Nishihama Park, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño compartido en Kochi. Todo impecable y la persona que lo regenta es muy amable y dispuesta a ayudar en lo que pueda. Muy bien situado y cerca de la estación, del Castillo y del Mercado. Muy recomendable.

La host maravillosa, la habitación amplia y el entorno increíble. Nos sentimos súper a gusto. Sin duda volveremos

そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse está en Ino, a 28 km de Odo Dam Museum, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. La acogida de David y Yoshico es excepcional, en seguida te hacen sentir como en casa. Como había pocos huéspedes me pudieron cambiar la habitación para tener vistas del río, las cuales son súper relajantes. La cena que me preparó Yoshico el 1er día estaba exquisita, y los desayunos tampoco defraudaron. El pueblo tiene un Onsen público muy bien preparado a 10min andando, y un Family Mart pegado, lo cual siempre viene bien para comprar el lunch. La ubicación de la Guesthouse es excelente para ir a ver el Yasui Valley y Nakatsu Gorge.

Guesthouse boro-ya se encuentra en Otoyocho, a 50 km de Estación de tren de Kochi, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Nos encantó la casa. Tuvimos una estadía increíble. La casa cuenta con todas las comodidades necesarias y esta rodeada de un paisaje muy hermoso. Vimos una águila volando por el valle y por la noche tuvimos la bendición de que nos visitó una pareja de búhos.

EkimaehouseSamaru está en Shimanto-cho, a 13 km de Kaiyodo Hobby Museum Shimanto y a 24 km de Monjudo Temple. Todas las habitaciones tienen cocina y baño compartido. Host is friendly and helpful,and he gifted me a cup noodle after marathon while all around is close. Train station and parking is just across the street. House is old Japanese style but clean.Bed comfortable.

Guesthouse Suisennosato se encuentra en Konan, a 17 km de Kami City Takashi Yanase Memorial Hall y a 18 km de Estación de tren de Kochi. The hostess is a lovely, kind lady who looked after us very well. The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The hostess kindly organized transportation of my partner's heavy backpack to the next accommodation so she could walk more easily on that leg of our pilgrimage. It was my second stay and I look forward to returning one day.

Katsuo Guest House está en Kochi, a 38 km de Daizen-ji Temple, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. So much care and love put into this guest house. Rooms, facilities and hosts were all amazing. We have been road tripping through Japan and staying at a lot of hostels and guesthouses and this one definitely was our favourite. Would 100% recommend!

Guest house 旅人宿ゆるっと, que cuenta con salón de uso común y bar, se encuentra en Iburi, a 2,2 km de Playa de Oki y a 8,7 km de Kotohira Shrine. I had a good night's rest in this Guest House in Iburi, after a long hiking trek from Shimanto City. The bed was comfortable with plenty of room for my things and the facilities were neat and clean. The shared area had a homely feel to it with free hot drinks provided. Also a bar for Alcohol Drinks. No shops in the immediate area however I believe Dinner and Breakfast can be provided on request (I did not partake). I am doing the Shikoku Henro Pilgrimage and as it turned out, it was the ideal spot from which to visit Temple 38, Kongōfukuji, down the coast to Cape Ashizuri. A long trek there and back the other side to TosaShimuzu (about 15 mins away by bus) was just about doable in a day. By bicycle would definitely be easier/faster as it is relatively flat. The route has stunning Coastal Views and the Temple is impressive. The Guest House owner was friendly and kind and stored my heavy rucksack for the day so that I could travel light. Price was great value too, especially so close after Golden Week.

To stay with the young couple host was great, picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the bus station each day to do our excursions. Surrounded by farm land & greenery! Are dinner together and chatted in the evenings. Noah the dog is very cute too 😁
