Beautiful ski lodge, the wood workshop made it even more charming. The room was clean and comfortable and simple but very cozy. They had everything you need and on top of that an onsen style bath. The host was very kind and generous and I left with a big smile! I wished I could stay longer!

Tototo Morioka, que está a 2,2 km de Estación de Morioka y a pocos pasos de House of Morioka Town, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño compartido en Morioka. Everything was provided, everything was clean, and I really liked the interior design and decorations in the house

Guesthouse Oyado Iizaka se encuentra en Fukushima, a 35 km de Estación de Nihonmatsu, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. The couple running the place are really kind, they treated me like family. We ate together, chatted together, they told me all the best onsen and restaurants around the house. They were so kind, it’s hard to describe. The house was cleaned and functional and there are a lot of onsen and restaurants at a walking distance from there. I stayed one more day just to be around those people more. Thank you, Taku and Midori for a nice stay.

Matakitai está en Ichinoseki, a 14 km de Templo Motsuji, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. La casa es espectacular. El propietario lo tiene todo muy bien montado con instrucciones claras sobre la cocina, el baño, las habitaciones, información sobre las atracciones turísticas más cercanas, las tiendas y un largo etc. El desayuno es muy barato y buenísimo!! Además, te deja elegir hora entre las 6 y las 9 de la mañana para preparártelo. Para llegar hasta la casa hay que bajarse en la estación de Mataki y está a unos 5 minutos caminando. No hay demasiados trenes durante el día pero sí los suficientes teniendo en cuenta que es una zona rural, tan solo hay que saber el horario que tienen.

Guest House Chara se encuentra en Hirosaki, a 34 km de Parque arqueológico de Sannai-Maruyama y a 3,5 km de Castillo de Hirosaki. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - there was also a breakfast included (which I didn't remember getting). The house was full of history and souvenirs which I'm sure the hosts are more than happy to talk to you about. There is also "sake nights" where the hosts offered us a chance to try different sakes. There is only one shower in the facility, so there is a booking system to reserve your shower slot.

Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse se encuentra en Matsushima, a 23 km de Sendai City Community Support Center y a 5 min a pie de Entsuin Temple. Eiju is such a great host, he’s super hospitable and friendly, we had many good yarns together. my stay in Matsushima couldn’t have been any better. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and I was given many cool recommendations of things to do whilst there. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Petit Resort Hotel Der Barte es un alojamiento de 3 estrellas que se encuentra en Zao Onsen, a 8 min a pie de Estación de esquí Zao Onsen, y que dispone de jardín, restaurante y bar. Fantastic location, right on Uwanodai slope - actual ski-in ski-out. Host was extremely friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was great and good value. Nice draught beer! Shower in room with a shared hot bath that could be booked for free. There's a ski/boot room in the basement that opens onto the slope. The decor is a bit dated but in a very charming way.

Shukubo Kanbayashi Katsukane se encuentra en Tsuruoka, a 24 km de Acuario Kamo Aquarium, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The hotel located right next to Zuishinmon so it’s very easy to hike Mt.Haguro from this location and also close to bus stop as well. The room is traditional Japanese room with futon and also air conditioner. The place has a shared bathroom and washroom. The food was very delicious. I had a very pleasant stay despite it was raining for two days straight. The lady who runs the hotel is also very helpful and kind towards a foreigner like me. Very recommended for people who would like to experience proper Japanese stays.

Pension Puutaro se encuentra en Zao Onsen, a 6 min a pie de Estación de esquí Zao Onsen, y ofrece jardín, habitaciones libres de humo, wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento y restaurante. Everything very clean. Very large room for single or 2 persons, can probably fit a whole family. Keiko was super nice and helpful and had great suggestions for restaurants. There’s just a lot of attention to every detail overall. The toilets even had the highest quality toilet paper I’ve ever seen in Japan😀 The price in summer/off season was very fair. There is no AC but it should unusually not be needed. Even when it was 37 degree in Tokyo it was only 25 in Zao onsen.
