He was able to help us arrange transportation to/from the guesthouse and also the safari jeep. The location is very quiet despite being by the main road. It’s located some distance from the safari but still relatively close by. we managed to see the elephant and even a leopard! The room itself was clean and well planned, all the basic amenities were provided for us.

Everything was just as promised. There were no other guests that night so I had the living room and verandah to myself. Everything went as expected.

The guest house also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. New Homestay with comfortable big rooms. Very nice shower, better than what I have at home. Silent airconditioning. Not cheap but worth the price because of the quality of the rooms. Extra will be breakfast 1200,diner 1500, softdrinks 300-500. Food good though. Contact with the manager only by phone, that's a pity, contact with the local family who takes care of the accommodation and food is very good, though little English.

Lovely attentive hosts, the Mrs is an excellent cook and we ate like kings for our two night stay - breakfasts simple and tasty, dinner an enormous rice and curry spread that could've fed and army, and the lunch box we had on our safari was a tiffin full of delicious fried rice and curry with loads of snacks and drinks. The safari our hosts organised was excellent, just the two of us in the jeep and a driver/guide who could spot an ant from a mile away. Unfortunately no leopards for us but incredible birdlife, and various other animals (spotted and barking deer, warthogs, crocs, mongooses, grey langurs etc).. They also organised very reasonably priced transfers between our accommodations afterwards. There's also a nice loop walk near the lake close to the accommodation for an evening stroll. Highly recommend this place for your time in Wilpattu.

Friendly,helpful/responsive hosts in a very clean house with a nice garden area. Ten minute walk to village center. Good breakfast and changed food each morning.

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. The host and family were simply wonderful! We arrived around 830pm after a day long road trip, hungry and tired. Kanchana prepared a satisfying meal for the four of us at such short notice. Her husband also arranged tuk tuks for us to tour Anuradhapura. The location is rustic and quiet. A lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life

It was the greatest place to stay in Habarana if you are looking for a budget friendly option. The room was with a treehouse chalet. The interior of the room is perfect and well designed in an eco friendly way. The manager is so friendly and professionally helped us with A to Z. There is a nice pool anyone can enjoy. The food is amazing. There was a small boy who assisted with everything perfectly. From the property to the town is close by. They helped us with organizing a village tour that was fantastic. Per person cost was LKR 2500/- including bullock cart ride, Catemoron ride in Habarana lake, village lunch etc. Such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend anyone who would like to visit Habarana to choose Visu Villa as their stay. 🥰 I never expected this kind of a wonderful star hotel service in a budget villa like this. Make sure you put Visu Villa in your bucket list. ♥️

After three weeks of traveling in Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura was our final stop before heading back to Colombo, and both my partner and I agreed that these last two days were the highlight of our trip. Malsha was a fantastic host. She gave us excellent recommendations, prepared fresh and delicious breakfasts, and even did our laundry. We truly felt at home during our stay. The entire family is incredibly sweet and welcoming. They also arranged a guided tour of the ancient city with their friend Kamal, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Having done several guided tours during our trip, we can confidently say that this one was the best by far. The value for money here is unbeatable and the location was also exactly what we had in mind. The homestay is situated in a quiet residential area, which we loved, and it’s only a quick 5-minute tuk-tuk ride to the city center. Thank you, Nilu and especially thank you Malsha, for an incredible stay. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Anuradhapura!

The rooms were spotless, with great air conditioning and hot water available. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always available when we needed assistance. Our booking was for two rooms, but they were not adjacent. The hosts went above and beyond by offering us a bigger room for the same price, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!
