Absolutely loved that we had chosen to stay in Russell for seven nights. The Pacific room was very spacious, we ended up with two rooms. The location is on a road that is easy to walk on to reach beaches at both ends. It was so quiet, and we enjoyed just being on our own, and not in the main streets of Russell. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very obliging and went the extra mile to ensure that everything was okay and provided extra baked goodies. The Pacific Room's facilities allow for simple self catering - as advertised there is a microwave, toaster, small fridge, cutlery and crockery. The hosts washed our dishes, as there was no kitchen sink, and they readily provided fresh towels ( we didn't have to ask!). We also appreciated that the hosts put the effort in to recycle anything that we separated from our rubbish as recyclable.

Karen is an incredible hostess—her breakfasts are delightful, and her beautiful home is truly a gem. We recommend this place to anyone looking for that little extra touch of Paradise. Staying at Paradise on the Strand is an experience not to be missed!
