Everything about Casa di Angeli was exceptional. The appartment was beautifully renovated and furnished, the pool was lovely, views from the terrace amazing, location was excellent and the breakfasts by Edouard were incredible! My mother in law is a coeliac and he even made gluten free cakes for breakfast! Edouard was very attentive and provided everything we needed for an amazing stay. We hope to be back!

The old oil mill is the oldest mill in Corsica, hundreds of years old and has been painstakingly and lovingly restored. It is fantastically beautiful and a place of peace, tranquillity and attention to detail. The rooms (there are only a few) are furnished with great taste, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is in absolutely top hygienic condition. The owner Anna lives hospitality like it couldn't be better. When I arrived, it was a day off and the restaurant run and cooked for by Anna herself was of course closed. I was hungry after a long journey and didn't want to eat in the nearest village restaurant. So Anna brought me (despite it being a day off) a lovingly prepared small evening meal with ultra-delicious local cheese, bread and ham, fresh local fruit and a bottle of local wine. I ate in my room and melted away! Anna makes a super delicious breakfast with lots of homemade treats, exquisite teas and high quality coffee. For dinner, Anna personally cooks for her guests. During the day, the delivery service came and brought the fresh ingredients of fruit, vegetables and meat, from which Anna then conjures up a 3-course menu that is terrific. So there is no a la cart dinner but you request something that Anna should cook or (which is much better), you simply let Anna do it and look forward to a surprise menu that deserves a Michelin star. My conclusion: If you are in Corsica, you must have got hold of accommodation. Because you'll only get a room if you're very lucky.
