We had the most amazing stay at the beautiful Nuevo Sol in San Juan. The room was very tidy and clean, the bed was great, the garden was a beautiful oasis of tranquillity and flowers, and the communal kitchen was greatly equipped. Most of all, our hosts Feliciana and Carolina were some of the kindest people we met on our journey. They immediately made us feel at home and answered all our questions about the town and restaurants. Muchas gracias!

The owners are very nice and helpful. I had a pleasant nice time there 🙂 The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and there was a nice big shower with hot water. Beautiful view of the lake and of the mountains from the window and balcony 🙂

clean hotel, helpfull staff with buses and tour, great price on top of it I lost my bank card and the owner sold me cash and bus ticket over Paypal, family ran and all so kind, if it was not from them i would be starving in Guatemala just awesome

Our host Helder was exceptional - he made sure we had everything we needed, and he gave us excellent information about the town, available activities, and transportation. San Juan is a relaxing place to stay, and this hostel is a few streets away from the main street, so you have access to everything you need, but you get to live with the locals and have a more authentic experience.

Even it is not the cheapest place you can get, you most definitely get more than you are expecting. The bathroom was the biggest surprise. It comes with a free standing tub from where you have a really nice view over the lake and the volcano on the opposite lake side!

i really loved the place. it has a beautiful view over the lake and the mountains and the beds are so comfy. its such agood price for private rooms and shared rooms that’s insane. thank you very much. there is a kitchen, water and they even sell eggs ;) we loved it.
