The bamboo house and the bamboo appartment are very nice. The neighbourhood is very nice for walks with friendly local people smiling and waving to you along the way. If you want to see authentic rural life in Bali this is the place to go. The owner of the property and his family are helpful and really caring about their guests. We went to our next stop with the local driver arranged by the owner. The driver was from the village and spoke great English. The price was also very reasonable and the driver very talkative which made our journey even more enjoyable. While we were staying in Pondok Salacca we ordered all the lunches and dinners from the wife of the owner. The food was delicious! I highly recommend this place!

They had upgraded our room to superior without extra charge. The room was very clean and spacious. Lovely ambience and pool. Helpful and kind staff. Candi Dasa area is peaceful and beautiful, I highly recommend, especially if you look for silence and enjoy nature, hiking and more authentic Bali life.

The Homestay is very clean, the bed is big and comfortable. İt is situated only 8 minutes walking distance from the port. The owner and host, Kadek, was taking very well care of us. My friend was sick when we arrived, and his uncle drove her to the doctor. They took care of us like we were family. He also gave us lots of good advice for our further trip and drove us to the port. İ highly recommend Green Merta 😊

    Beautiful and peaceful homestay. Wonderful owners. The view of the jungle from my room was so special. Lovely place to come stay if you need some respite from the city, pure local village vibes. Would come back and stay here in a heartbeat!

    You wouldn't notice there's actually a homestay inside since you have to come thru a restaurant/bakery but it was quite enjoyable. Rooms felt really private and quiet. The room and bed was really comfy and spacious. Location is unbeatable on the heart of Candidasa.
