Likes: where to start! I've stayed in many guesthouses and really look for 'value for money', which depends ,mainly, on what you are getting ,for the price! 'Alolo Inn' : is outstanding in this aspect! It's exceptional : 'value for money'! Michael, the owner of 15 years, has a sole purpose of making your stay memorable, comfortable and welcoming1 The pool, for starters; great size, clean, well maintained. Breakfast included : that's a bonus: and its quality/generous servings are a standout: straight from their kitchen : to your room! The location: ideal : 8 minute walk to the boats to the islands! Shops nearby, opening early! Michael is a gentleman, his staff cannot do enough for you, making you ,really, feel at home ,immediately! A 5 minute walk: to any number of newly built cafes/bars/restaurants : Padangbai is catering for tourists 'passing through', or longer staying individuals/travellers. The beaches are close by, numerous transportation options nearby and : catered for ,as well, here at 'Alola Inn'. The rooms themselves: couldn't ask for more: clean, comfortable, air conditioned, wifi works to a tee,'roomy', not at all cramped, balcony outside, a 5 step walk to the pool! good lighting: natural and powered,good sized bathroom! Really: what more to ask for/require!?? Michael, the owner: almost overly generous: but that attitude is NOT counterproductive! Its returned in kind ,in time! I'd highly recommend anyone to look no further than 'Alola Inn': I will certainly ,on return to padangbai: not hesitate to book here again! It really is outstanding in every way! Its 'value for money' ,the quality you receive: COULD be reflected in higher charges: but wasn't!!

The property is in a great location with the overview of a rice fields! We liked a lot that everything is green and you are constantly surrounded by nature sounds which was very calming 💚 The room and the bathroom was very spacious and we also enjoyed the pool area with the great view 😊 Also, we recommend the spa as the foot massage that we had was very relaxing 💆🏻‍♀️Speaking about restaurant, it also offers lots of tasty things and the breakfast itself is really nice and big, lots of variety and choice for everyone's taste! The staff is really great, helpful, warm and very welcoming which makes this place unique in Sidemen ❤️ Since it was my boyfriend's birthday, all the staff (reception, restaurant and the housekeeping team) helped to surprise him with some sweet treats and room decorations which was trully amazing!! 😊✨🎂 So I wanted to expresss gratitude and big thank you to this place, it's really amazing and I cannot recommend it more while you are in Sidemen! Be sure to include this place on your list!

The location is great - it was perfect for us for a night before taking the ferry to Nusa Penida. Everything is in walking distance. Lovely hosts and great breakfast. We also loved the decor - everything is so colourful and has character, unlike a lot of hotel rooms!

We stayed overnight to catch a ferry to Gilis. Ferry ticket can be arranged by the hosts. Wifi was good. No kettle or TV, however the bed was comfy. Here you can experience a stay in a local household (its a homestay)

Lovely family run home stay, we were offered complimentary tea or coffee on arrival and the family were very friendly throughout. Room was perfect for a short stay and the breakfast was amazing!! They were very humbled when we tipped on checking out.

This was a very nice Home stay on the top floor of a lovely families House. We had the whole top floor with exclusive access. Darta makes you feel like family and very welcome. Equally, he left us to ourselves. Perfect location if you're catching a boat the next morning, only a few metres from the port. And a short walk from Blue lagood Beach. I highly recommend if you need a budget room for the evening and don't want to 'slum it' so to speak. Lovely people ❤️

I have been to Bali 9 times now over the past 10 years, and Bay view house was one of the most welcoming places I’ve been to. Great hosts, yummy breakfast and super comfy beds!
